When raising kids in Orange County, splash pads are a lifesaver. As a local Realtor and a dad of two energetic kiddos, I’ve learned that nothing beats a spontaneous trip to a splash pad to cool off, burn energy, and make some great memories, all without breaking the bank.

Whether you’re new to the area or just looking for new spots to explore, here’s my curated list of the best splash pads in Orange County.

Address: 29751 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA
Known for its colorful water features, water cannons, and splash buckets. Plenty of space for parents to relax in shaded areas. Bonus: right next to a fantastic playground.

Address: 14301 Yale Ave, Irvine, CA
This one’s open year-round and has an ocean-themed splash area next to a library and sports fields, great for making a day out of it.

Address: 300 S Euclid St, La Habra, CA
One of our favorites. The train-themed splash area is a huge hit with younger kids, and it runs from 11 am – 6 pm in summer.

Address: 4701 Casa Loma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA
Brand new and packed with water play elements. It’s a clean, modern setup, and there’s a huge climbing structure too. Reservations Required in Summer.

Address: 7200 Plaza St, Westminster, CA
Free and simple. It’s smaller than others but perfect for toddlers. Summer hours run daily from noon – 5 pm.

Address: 320 E Orangewood Ave, Anaheim, CA
This one holds a special place in our hearts. My kids love the splash pad here, plus there’s a shaded inclusive playground, clean restrooms, and a beautiful community garden. We’ve even hosted birthday parties here (tip: reserve the picnic area early!).
